As well as being home to NE Ceremony Music and County Durham's hard-hitting Irish band The Emerald Thieves, this website serves as a network contact hub for a huge variety of live music related services based throughout the North East region.
We are not an agency, but we can easily put you in touch with one. We are a North East music company which is run by musicians who are passionate about music.
We can hire (or connect you with) string quartets, piano and violin duos, Scottish pipers, Irish dancers, DJs, events managers, PA system hire, audio mixing and mastering services, professional wedding musicians, party bands in Newcastle, County Durham, Sunderland, Darlington, Teesside, Northumberland and further afield too. Our band travels the entire UK.

The company was established back in 2005 by dedicated musicians from Belfast, Durham and Newcastle. As we now approach our 15th year our talented musicians have been lucky enough to travel worldwide, performing in Europe and the middle East at a variety of amazing events. Back in 2012 Anna from Emerald Thieves Band even had the honour of playing fiddle for Her Majesty the Queen when the Royal Party visted Durham Castle, we're very proud of that. All acts carry public liabilty insurance, PAT certificates and will travel nationwide
A £100 reservation fee is required to hold advance dates in our diary. The fee is non-refundable in any event of the date being cancelled or changed by the client, however the full £100 will be deducted from the balance when final payment becomes due.

Terms and Conditions
1) Should you (The Hirer) wish to cancel or change the date of your booking
written notice must be given and you agree to be bound by the following
sliding scale of cancellation charges. These charges enforced by the Musicians
Union reflect the likelihood of replacing scheduled bookings at short notice.
0-30 days = 100% of agreed booking fee
31-60 days = 75% of agreed booking fee
61-90 days = 60% of agreedbooking fee
91+ days = £100 reservation fee will be retained
2) Cancellations should be notified in writing by registered post to Emerald
Entertainment.
3) In the unlikely event of cancellation by the band or any of our musicians
all payments made by you will be refunded in full.
4) Balance payments for wedding and corporate events are due one
calendar month before the booking.
